The English Premier League 2021-22 has just got started, with Matchday 2 being held. Sunday saw three more matches being conducted, primarily producing favourable results, as we take a look. Chelsea dominates Arsenal In the headliner game of the London Derby, Chelsea travelled to the Emirates Stadium to take on a struggling Arsenal. While Chelsea has scaled to the top of the table, The Gunners has lost both its opening games, thus lurking at the 19th spot. James has become the second player from The Blues to score and assist in an away Arsenal EPL tie, following Juan Mata. James had five touches in the penalty area of the Gunners box, setting a new personal record in an EPL game. It is the first time since 1992 that Arsenal is in the relegation zone following the opening two games of the season. It is also the first time that the Gunners has failed to win the opening two games of the EPL season without scoring. Manchester United held to a tough draw by Southampton United was determined to continue its 26-game unbeaten streak away from home in the tournament. As it travelled to Southampton, it faces tough competition. While Fred's goal in the 30th minute put the host ahead, Mason Greenwood drew level in the 55th,  eventually ending in a draw. As a result of this draw, the Red Devils slipped to the fifth spot. Stats United has conceded the second most own goals in the EPL against Southampton (4), the most being Newcastle United (5). Paul Pogba has become the first EPL player to register five assists after the season's opening two games. Greenwood has become the fourth EPL teen to score in the opening two games of the season, with the first being Alan Smith. Red Devils is unbeaten in 27 consecutive EPL away games, equalling the longest streak by Arsenal. Tino Livramento made six inceptions against United, making him the youngest to do so in a single EPL game at 18 years and 283 days. Tottenham Hotspur edges past Wolverhampton Wanderers Tottenham was up against Wolves in an away encounter, as it was a successful outing, winning it 1-0, thanks to the lone strike from Dele Alli. While Spurs has risen to the fourth spot, it has shown enough determination in the title race in the opening two games.
