Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to make a massive comeback with its 13th season on Sony TV this year. In a recently released promo by Sony, the makers announced the most-awaited game show would air on August 23. KBC is reported to air five times a week, from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. Director Nitesh Tiwari, popularly known for his films like Dangal and Chhichore, has helmed the three short films titled Sammaan that were released as a part of KBC's promotional campaign. Amitabh Bachchan has been an integral part of the show. Talking to Indian Express about how Bachchan came on board for the show, producer Sidhartha Basu shared, that no megastar has hosted a TV show in India. The intention was to make the biggest bang possible. He revealed that Bachchan took some time to make up his mind for TV. But once he decided to come on board, there was no looking back, and the TRP of the show grew considerably. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan is pleased to return to the sets of KBC.
