Telangana boy delivers newspapers to support his family lauded by minister KTR; watch video

Telangana minister KT Rama Rao is an active user of social media. He recently shared a video of a 12-year-old boy from Jagital who was seen delivering newspapers to help his parents and support his academics financially. In the caption of the post, the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development loved this young boy's confidence, composure and clarity of thoughts and expression.

The 43-second clip shows a boy named Sri Prakash, a class six student at a government school, explaining that there is nothing wrong with working while studying. A passer-by stops Sri Prakash and asks why he was working rather than learning at such a young age. In reply, the class six student says, "If I work now, it will be helpful for me later." Sri Prakash says he is motivated by former Indian president APJ Abdul Kalam, a paperboy at ten.

Telangana minister KT Rama Rao showed his love towards the 12-year-old's determination. According to a report, Sri Prakash served as a paperboy since he was in the third grade. And his brother also works as a paper delivery boy before him. His father is a driver, and his mother owns a ladies' emporium. His mother stated that her son preferred to work for himself and pay for all of his expenses.
